🚤 Boat Rules, Terms & Disclaimer

To ensure a safe, premium experience for all guests, the following rules and policies are strictly enforced. By booking or operating any vessel from Art’s Boat Rentals, LLC, you acknowledge and agree to all terms below.

🧑‍✈️ Operator Requirements

Minimum Age & Experience:

• All operators must be 25+ years old with extensive boating experience operating this type of vessel.

• No exceptions.

• If the designated operator does not meet qualifications or demonstrates insufficient experience, they will not be permitted to operate the boat and no refund will be issued.

Boating Safety Requirement:

• The designated captain must watch the Georgia Boating Safety Video and comply with all local and state boating laws.

• A brief safety review or test may be administered prior to departure.

Sobriety:

• The captain must remain 100% sober and alert at all times while operating the vessel.

• No alcohol or substances permitted for the operator.

⛽ Fuel Policy

• Fuel is NOT included in rental pricing.

• Fuel usage is billed at $45 per engine running hour (only while engine is running).

• Overnight rentals require refueling upon return.

🛥️ Boat Operation & Care Rules

To protect the vessel and ensure a luxury experience for every guest:

• Do NOT lower or adjust the Bimini/top at any time.

• Use designated docks only — do NOT beach or take the boat ashore.

• Captain is fully responsible for all passengers and the vessel.

• No glass containers permitted onboard or near the boat.

• No smoking, vaping, or open flames allowed onboard.

• No pets allowed.

• No sharp objects that could damage upholstery or flooring.

• Fishing is permitted, but any hook or upholstery damage will be charged to renter.

🧼 Cleanliness Policy

Boat will be delivered clean and ready.

Boat must be returned in the same clean condition.
A $100 cleaning fee will be charged if sand, excessive trash, or hard-to-remove substances are found.

🕒 Punctuality Policy

Please be respectful of scheduled times.

• Late return beyond 30 minutes: $50 fee

• Multiple boats are scheduled daily — timeliness is required.

🌧️ Weather Policy

• No refunds due to weather conditions.

• Georgia weather can change quickly — please plan accordingly.

• Free cancellation allowed 48+ hours prior to rental start.

• No refunds within 48 hours of rental.

👶 Life Jackets & Safety

• Adult life vests provided onboard.

• Specialty sizes (children/infant) must be provided by renter.

🧑‍✈️ Additional Services

• Professional captain available for additional fee (upon request).

• Delivery and pickup service available for additional charge.

💥 DAMAGE & LIABILITY

Renter assumes full responsibility for the vessel and all passengers during the rental period.

Any damage to boat or equipment will be charged accordingly.
If damage or downtime exceeds deposit amount, renter agrees to pay full difference for repairs and lost rental time.

⚖️ RELEASE OF LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION

By booking this vessel, renter agrees to the following:

• Owner and/or appointed captain shall not be liable for injury, death, loss, or damage to renter, passengers, or personal property.

• Renter assumes all risks associated with boating and water activities.

• Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Art’s Boat Rentals, LLC, its owner, and any appointed captain from any claims, damages, legal fees, or liabilities arising from use of the vessel.

• Owner does not provide insurance for renter personal belongings.

⚠️ ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Boating and water activities involve inherent risks that may result in injury or death.

Renter acknowledges:

• They are physically and mentally capable of operating the vessel safely

• They possess sufficient boating knowledge and experience

• They voluntarily assume all risks associated with the rental

🚫 PROHIBITED CONDUCT

Owner reserves the right to terminate rental immediately (no refund) if any renter or guest:

• Is intoxicated or unsafe

• Violates any rule or law

• Possesses illegal substances

• Behaves in a reckless, profane, or disorderly manner

📜 AGREEMENT ACCEPTANCE

By booking, paying for, or operating this boat, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to all rules, policies, waivers, and terms listed above.

Failure to follow these rules may result in termination of rental without refund and additional charges.
